Troy + Sara, 10 years wedding anniversary || Union Terminal, Cincinnati

The couple on the blog today is so special — they are celebrating 10 years of marriage!!

Sara and Troy got married when they were young and they have been through so much together over the past ten years. Their story, like all of ours, is one of both growth and triumph. They are passionate about CHOOSING to love your spouse day in and day out, about being proactive in their marriage and always seeking ways to grow closer and deeper, and also about having FUN!

For their 10 year anniversary session, I LOVE that these two wanted to take photos right where it all began. So we did the session at the spot where they committed their lives to one another a decade ago. Union Terminal, Cincinnati was an absolutely stunning backdrop with a gorgeous light. So perfect for the personality of this couple whose roots will always be out in the country where they grew up! They have 2 wonderful daughters, Payton (14) and Kennedy (5) and I'm glad that they brought them to celebrate it together.

I often have people comment on my photos something along the lines of “I wish I had know about your photography when I got married!” or “We need to have another wedding just so you can photograph it!”.

I love celebrating new love, but there is something so special about celebrating couples who have stuck it through for 5, 10, or 50 years! You can wear casual clothes, formal clothes, or even wedding clothes. The beauty of anniversary sessions (and elopements or vow renewals) is everything is up to you!
